Title: 0.31.3 Windows 7 .NZB File Type Association
Post by: jasondcannon on January 24, 2010, 06:54:56 pm
I don't think this is a new bug in 0.31.3, but I couldn't find it listed anywhere. Checking the "Register NZB extension to Alt.Binz" does not do anything in Windows 7 (Ultimate 32 bit). You have to manually associate it in Explorer. Granted, there is a work around, but it would be nice if this bug was fixed.

Confirmed bug stands.

See the post above yours.  Clearly users are having different experiences.  More testing needed.

This might explain it:

Thankfully this is the only registry change Alt.Binz ever makes.

Beat me to it :p

Although I'm pretty sure that solves the problem, can others also confirm?

And for clarity: You only need to run as administrator once to set the association, then just run as normal.
