Remember last used directory
« on: May 24, 2007, 05:22:11 PM »
Hi,
I would like to have the option to let the browse dialog remember the last used download directory. In stead of starting to browse from the default download folder.

Thanks in advance,
Peppy

I would like to see this as an option under download settings. Its annoying having to navigate to a folder that isn't the default every time I add something to the queue. Can you implement this please? Thanks!

In the meantime, you could consider using download categories if you're doing this a lot.

I too would find this useful, though a history of previously used download directories would be more helpful for me personally.

Categories (say five or so different choices) aren't really that helpful in the way I use Alt.Binz because 95% of what I get would fit under either TV or Movie (unless you had the ability to create your own categories, and five might not be enough)

A historical list would work for me, since I have directories on various volumes, which I use all the time, but how much history, 5, 10, 20, 100?

I agree having to navigate to a selected folder each time is time consuming, which is why I thought historical choices might be helpful, not just the last folder - I'd have at least 10-20 I'd use regularly - at the moment, everything gets copied manually from one big download folder into various sub folders on various volumes.

Just a thought.

Last selected folder via browse dialog is now remembered for both download & unrar.

Also, last selected folder for import nzb is remembered.
