Notes window should not be modal
« on: March 13, 2008, 10:42:23 AM »
Hi!

The notes window is practical, however it should not be modal, meaning that it should be possible to leave it open when working with AltBinz. Having to close the notes window before AltBinz accepts any user input is rather inconvenient. It's easy to make a window modeless, so I hope this will be implemented soon.

Thanks!

Yet again with the "it's easy to do [feature X], so I hope this will be implemented soon."

This is the kind of information that you can safely leave off your posts.  It certainly isn't doing you any favours.

I'm a software developer myself and I KNOW if something is easy to implement or not. Making a window modeless is a matter of seconds, with all the logic around it (opening and closing) maybe a few minutes.

this might very well be, but apearing quite damanding or pushy could lead to the oposite of the atempted thus deprioritizing your own request.

Sorry, it was not my intention to sound demanding. I just thought this was a very easy thing to fix and would help a lot of users (I still think so ;-)

Regards!
