Adding entries into the download queue
« on: January 31, 2009, 10:40:00 PM »
I've seen this thread before, but had no resolution or added comments. The thread was locked. Version 28.4. Load up Binz. Make several searches with Binsearch. I'll right click the set and download to queue. I'll do this for several file sets to build up a good 3 hours worth of downloading. When I want to check the status out and see the download queue, there is nothing to display. I did try to read through the log but didn't find anything out of the ordinary or errors. If I'm doing something wrong, I am sorry.

I think Binz should continue to develop this program and right now soley concentrate on making it rock stable and efficient. I've used News Reader which is is a stable and efficient reader for several years. I've always paid for it. I started to use Binz instead of NR because in some ways it is much easier to download multiple file sets using the automated PAR checking and UNRARRING. NR does this also, but believe it or not you cannot select to create a folder for each set. This means everything you UNRAR gets thrown in one folder. How useful is that going to be when filenames are the same? Not very good. I'd pay $50 for a good news reader, and if Binz put a little more R&D into it it would be my choice of a reader to pay for each year, or whenever there is a large update. I'm sure that may be happening right now and hope to see great forward progress with this program. If the author wants or needs a mirror for download purposes, please let me know. Would love to help. Thanks.
