Hi!
I downloaded something that was postet as an iso in many parts. E.g.:
Movie.iso.par2
Movie.iso.001
Movie.iso.002
etc.
Two of the parts were defective. AltBinz downloaded repair sets but didn't repair and extract the iso.
Regards,
Frasier

well repairing should be done but it's not suposed to extract an iso only to unrar... some people like to burn iso's to cd/dvd some just like to use them with virtual drives
-
I didn't mean "extracting" the iso, but combining the many parts. AltBinz neither repaired the damaged parts, nor did it combine them.
Regards!

Not necessarily a bug.

I think this is what you mean. As you can see, it has been requested. Feel free to add a +1 :)

seem something completly different to me here he wants altbinz to unite a certain number of parts into one iso (also somtimes happens with .avi, which works with altbinz) the other thread is requesting to move files in the correct folder...
-
No, it says he wants Parchive support and more.
The first line reads 'Wouldn't it be neat if parchives were supported?' :-*
Parchives in this case is what he refers to as .001, .002, etc files being merged through the .par2.
;D

ok but then seems something different...

No support for joining splitted files in Alt.Binz yet. More information in this thread (including instructions on how to do it yourself manually):

As it's already been requested, there's no need for another thread, so I'll close this one. :)
