Title: Speed limit function bug on more threads ?
Post by: djrobbie on March 07, 2007, 03:15:52 pm
Helle there !

First i wanna say .... Awesome program, it's my favourite right now.
I have found a bug i guess.

When you change the speed limit to a percentage of choice the speed of the 1st thread only has changed but when you add 1 or more thread then the speed goed to maximum again.
Also the speed percentage is not exactly right because when i say about 50% speed limit my speed goes to about 80kb/s of a total available speed at my place of 380kb/s.
Please test it and see for yourself.

Hopefully i am right and doing it all right so i am telling the truth about a real bug ?

Thanx in advance.
Keep on going with this awesome tool !

You're right. Adding new thread speed will not be limited in new thread. Fixed.

Speed percentage should be right. Did you enter 380kB/s as your maximum download speed in setup->connection. That value is used to correctly display speedgraph and calculate limit percentage.

Thanx for fixing the real bug about the speed with more threads at the same time.
Kewl !

And you are right, i had set the maximum settings lower so the percentage was not right of what i have expected.
My fault ... not a bug.
Thanx again.

I will follow this forum and ofcoz this awesome tool !

Greets,
