every time, view NFO file for collection results in application freeze and hang, requiring removal via task manager to recover it - really annoying as i use this a LOT
Plus i have been unable to narrow it down, but i have had more single file failure with this and the previous version than ever before, this seems a step backwards in stability compared to a couple of releases ago

In what tab?
-
it was after searching for something, so it would have been whichever one i was in .... i'll go initially for NZBIndex and Binsearch as those are the first 2 the way i have it set up, and use those the most, after that NZBSearch i'd guess at.
EDIT:
Add NZB.cc to that as well, just tested it in that tab and it has frozen the app

Sorry, I can't reproduce that - it works fine here on every tab that supports it. Can you post the specific search string that produces the problem nfo?
Aso, Alt.Binz is running rock-solid here, so let's see if we can figure out what the probs are on your end.

errrrrrr,
ok, thats stupid and odd ! just went and did the same search as i did earlier (from search history) and then selected the NFO and it opened fine
ok, i'll admit defeat here, as i can't give you a working example (or not as the case may be) of the issue, so there is no point in you wasting your time with it
So please feel free to trash this report and put it down to my PC screwing with me (again) .... one of these days it will learn the definition gravity, without the aid of Google search ;) ..... when i throw it out the dam window !

Computers are evil. :P
-
yeah tell me about it .... however, i did find one of the other files that DOES reproduce this error....
search for "2010-05-19.net.rb-dlc" in the NZB.cc tab, and you should get only one return, then try right clicking and viewing the nfo ;)
What i actually was searching for was a BlackBerry unlock tool when i came across that file
-
Yah, confirmed that Alt.Binz really doesn't like that one.
-
hahahahaha
Strange thing is, if it had just been that one, i would have thought nothing of it, but as it happened several times on different ones i figured my luck was not so bad as to always hit corrupted nfo files, then when i do speak up ... it works fine LOL
