0.25.0 and Vista - not a good combo

Well as a huge fan of Altbinz it pains me to say that unless one of the "newer" builds works properly under Vista I'm going to have to switch, and believe me that doesn't make me happy at all.  I've tried other programs, yet none IMO are as good as this one.

Anyways, on to the problems:

- When I start Altbinz, CPU usage goes to 100% right away and stays there.
- I cannot exit Altbinz, it hangs on the close dialog box (the boarders show up, but none of the buttons show up.  I have to use task manager to end the process.
-When searching from within Altbinz, it's EXTREMELY  slow (probably related to the 100% processor usage.
-When a download is complete, there is a folder but no files.  I have UAC disabled, and run everything as Admin on my system.

I haven't found out anything else yet, but that's because I can't even use the program.

So is any of this fixed yet?  Vista is here to stay, and while I just recently upgraded (really only for DX10 reasons) from XP SP2, I hope you make this awesome piece of software work properly under it as well.

Where is altbinz.exe located? In Program Files or? I would try to copy JUST exe to c:\altbinz and run it from there and see if 100% cpu usage is still there and then work step by step (configuring it again) from there.

As far as I can tell your problems are not related to Windows Vista. I'm running Alt.Binz 0.26.6 on Windows Vista Ultimate x64 and everything works fine for me. I do not run it as Administrator but as my regular user (who is in the Administrator group though).
My altbinz.exe is in Program Files (x86). Works without any problems but as Rdl is our Lord and Master you should probably try his suggestion anyway ;)

EDIT: Crap. After posting this I saw the topic title and noticed you are using 0.25.0. The problems you are having may have been fixed in the later builds after all ;)
