And it has stopped working again.

Opened up Alt Binz today only to have  it freeze at the authentication box.
sooooo here is what i have done so far.
started off with the usual leave it running...... for over an hour ..... with no change.
task manager shut down.... and restart.... froze at authentication. repeat just to make sure. same result
copy dir to back up so i have the original before playing with it.
Uninstall alt binz...... hmmmm...not in list of installed programs in windows 10 so have to do revo uninstall.
get and install the install exe of version 39.4 from the site.
installs fine ..... the third time I tried it any ways.
download and upgrade to 46.0.1 from site.
runs fine. enter login information. again runs fine.shut down and restart.
go to settings to enter server info and make changes to set up.
shut down...... freezes on shut down. hard shut off with task man. restart.
freezes at authentication......... and around we go. restart... freeze at authentication......
any other ideas as to what it might be?

ok I have isolated it down to " autoimport NZB files from Folder" under settings NZB.
If I engage this command the program will freeze, and will freeze again at the authentication box on start up until I replace the misc/ settings from a back up copy. once that is done it will run properly again.
As i would like to use this function are there any suggestions on solving this problem?

What is inside that folder? (autoimport nzb folder)

Normally it has little to nothing in it until I put the NZB files into it to be auto loaded.
right now it has 3 tv shows and 1 movie in rar\par format and 2 nzb files.
What are you thinking?

Remove them from the folder, start altbinz and see if everything is ok.

sorry for the late reply.... busy couple of days.
removed everything from the directory and yes it did in fact go back to working.
thanks for your help
I will create a directory stricly for the NZB files to go into to prevent this from happening again.
