Unable to download at full speed
« on: December 09, 2010, 09:54:18 PM »
I have been using the freeware version up until today and always maxed out my 50MB connection downloading at aprox 6200Kb/s.
Since installing and using the latest version, my download rate will not go above aprox 2200Kb/s. Tested my broadband connection and there are no problems with that or my network.
All settings appear to be the same as before and I've tried it on 3 different nzb's, still no luck. So it certainly appears to be a problem within the program.
Any advice?

Edit:
Switched to EU server and the speed increased to about 3000Kb/s, still well below what I was getting earlier today.

Astra?
Are you sure it's not up to them.
Currently, I cannot get my 16mbits with them.

Easiest way of course to test is to revert to 0.25.0.

No I'm not with Astraweb, I will never go back to them and thats after using them for just a week, I use Supernews.

Tested on freeware version and it appears the problem was server side, weird as I have never had this happen with Supernews before (just luck maybe?). Back to top download speeds this morning.
Just sheer coincidence by the looks of it. Or more worrying, my ISP could have been "traffic shaping" me even though I use SSL.

Thankyou for your replies and apologies for my impatience.
