Title: Help with v .0.30.0
Post by: ak4d7 on May 08, 2009, 11:48:56 pm
Hi im having a small problem nothing too serious but,
Downloading seems to always hangs at the end with one article stuck at 96%

Some unnecessary features i would like to see added to this already excellent program
-Saving downloads into a newsgroup sub-folder
-double click downloading from search results

i think this problem may be caused by some setting i changed because i was not having it before any help will be appreciated, again this a great program!

I've had a problem similar to this.  For whatever reason the TEMP folder was clogged with files (upwards of several hundred mb).  I exited the program, deleted temp files, restarted alt.binz, problem was fixed.

Don't know if this is the same situation you're experiencing, but, it sounds very similar.

OK i tried deleting all files in the TEMP folder and now i get an access violation when i try to download that same file and the download freezes and sometimes alt.binz program freezes up

Here's what worked for me:

1.) Disconnect from server
2.) Delete file currently being downloaded from download queue tab
3.) Exit Alt.Binz
4.) Delete all folders in /temp
5.) Open Alt.Binz and re-add files to download.

Maybe someone else can offer another suggestion?

Good Luck!
