This may not be a problem with the progy as such but can anyone shed some light on this in the log?

[2007/10/15 06:33:40 AM] [T1] Retry 1/1 #a.b.mm@EFNet - Req 38423 - Without.a.Trace.S06E03.HDTV.XviD-XOR - 21/29 - xor-without.a.trace.603.rar.par2
[2007/10/15 06:33:40 AM] [T1] StatusCode: 0

I then get disconnected.... this happens all the time... I never connect.

Same problem here but different server and article.
Alt.Binz v0.25.0.
For me above message keeps repeating.
Playing with 'select group' and/or 'article cmd' doesn't solve the problem.
Problem is relatated to specific articles.
No way to download these articles.

Grabit has also this problem.
NewLeecher reports some king of authentication error.
But server doesn't require authentication.
I downloaded already huge articles from this server.

Does Alt.Binz version 0.26.7 also have this problem?

It probably will as it is very unlikely that this error has anything to do with Alt.Binz. As Rdl said 'StatusCode: 0' means the server didn't send any status code at all.

Connect to your news server via telnet.
Start->Run->cmd
telnet news.what.net 119

I get this messege as i get Status Code: 0 also.

400 Too Many Connections [news.what.net allows 2 per host/0 per feed (0 == nolimit)] (

It just means that, I'm only allowed two connections per connect to my news server.

Rere your are right.

telnet xx.yy.com 119

Message from server was:
400 xx.yy.com: Your host connection limit reached

and not "Status Code 0"

Tnx for your reply.
