First Time Setup Help

Hi everyone,

Just recently got 0.44.0 and access to the automated search functions. Just having a little bit of trouble trying to set up one for Newznab. I've browsed the forums a bit and had little luck, testing different combinations of details.

If I wanted to create one for latest movie releases for example, what details would I enter on this screen?

Also, in regards to RSS feeds. Is it possible to add a "Size" tab?

If anybody could provide assistance on that, be much appreciated.

First you click on plus button to add new server entry, then you dbl-click and fill out name, url and api key columns. Once everything is filled out, you select that server and click on 'Check server' button. If everything checks out, you'll be able to click on 4th column 'Active' to make it appear in newznab tab. After that you click on save and check out newznab tab.
You can have multiple newznab servers in newznab tab.

Regarding RSS size column, there isn't one and you can't add it for now.

So, do you need both a URL and API?

If I had the API of "?t=movie&imdbid=0023010" how would I go about adding this in?

URL= base url for newznab API interface
API key = key used to authenticate user on newznab server without giving out username/password

In your example "?t=movie&imdbid=0023010" neither could be identified.
