Title: Where do I get information for the server properties in setup?

 :-[  Yes, I am new and am trying to set this up...Do I need to call Comcast  for these? Thats my Internet provider.

Comcast has stopped usenet service in 2008 for all their customer's. I've been using the groups for years now and have always liked giganews for my provider. Yea, you have to pay, but it has been a premium experience so far.

So,what you are saying is I can,t use any binary newsreaders for downloading and managing articles from Usenet as long as I'm stuck with Comcrap...!

nope the answer is u need an usenetprovider additionaly to comcast...

Thanks David,So I'm paying for Comcast plus Giganews and using Alt.binz..?
If so isn't this getting a bit expensive?

Who in the right frame of mind would choose Giganews...
Anyway discussions if the whole package is expensive or not are for somewhere else.

Lock
