I download from several sources, and all the files go into one incoming folder, and each release has its own folder.
I use alt.binz RSS feature to poll tvnzb for updates, but I want to be able to make alt.binz skip a download if the identical folder name already exists, when I have already grabbed the release from a different source.
Hopefully I have explained this OK, and wonder if such a setting is tucked away somewhere.
cheers :D

Check Setup > Download > Downloaded articles options, 'Import already downloaded as paused'. This will still import the NZB, but won't download the files in the collection if they're in your dl history. If you know what I mean ... that's not quite what you're asking for, but it works the same in practice. :)
Otherwise you could update your RSS filters to exclude the downloaded files.

Thanks hecks, but you're right ... not quite what I am after. If I have alt.binz running "automated" with RSS, I still want all the stuff I don't already have to arrive as normal.
I am adjusting the filters at the moment to get what I need, but I might post this in the request forum. I am no coder, but it sounds like a check to see if the folder already exists doesn't seem too tricky.

(Edit: I'll move it for you. Hecks. :) )
