I love the global search feature (usually limited to binsearch/newzleech/nzbindex and aeton), however I think it could be better implemented as a permanent area on the top toolbar (or an additional toolbar), instead of having to open the dialog box every time.
Two ways to implement this would be:
1) Just move the search box onto the main toolbar, with an icon (the current one is fine) to adjust the settings/choose the search providers
2) It's own toolbar completely (if you chose this way, then it could be an optional toolbar of course)
Thanks rdl.

i personaly find it more effective the way it is right now. using the ctrl+f shortcut you can open the box quickly and ready to type instead of having to use the mouse to move it to a toolbar...

I agree with Davidq666
Butthe search box could be improved with few options :
First one would be :
"auto paste clipboard"
and to add to start options : "open search box"
and.... when i start alt.binz, it opens search box and fill it for me !!
i still have to click on "search", but maybe we could find something
(this might feel ironic about davidq666' laziness, but i'm serious, i'm lazy too :D)

thats what i am talking about!
Now combine that with an earlier request of mine "name collection after search-string" (https://www.altbinz.net/forum/index.php?topic=3019.0). And we're anonther step closer to automation paradise (humming the refrain coolio's gangstas paradise ())
By the way hiting enter is much quicker than clicking search...
