Pre-download check addition

Is there a way to incorporate a pre download check to verify that all files are able to be downloaded from the server before they are actually downloaded?  Will save lots of time with incompletes/corruptions.  Thanks in advance!

Sorry about that.  Yea that is a very old request.  Figured it was asked before, just couldn't find it.  So maybe we can get it going by re-introducing the idea.   :)

A recent one the search engines where could expanded archive all showed as green. Still green after adding to the list. I couldn't complete this one even after downloading all the vol.par2 files to repair.

Initial
88 .rar parts (green)
40 vol.par2 (grey)

After repair using altbinz or others the best was..

35 .rar parts 33/33
53 .rar parts 0/33
40 vol.par2 files all ok

Knowing when added to list would help make a decision to look at other search engines. To see if could be completed eventually or not to bother with it. For the one above I would have decided not to as would be incomplete.

For me it has only happened to me a handfull of times but they were all very old, 900+days.  However I have a provider that is good to 1500 days, but even they didn't have the files.  using block accounts, knowing before hand if the download will be be completed would be nice to save the precious block space.  I mean I can check with other programs if it is avail on the server in full or not, but just queing the NZB and having altbinz check would make.... well altbinz would now be making me coffee.  Life is complete  :)

I'd like to add my support here. An NZB completion checker would be great.
Perhaps it could be integrated with this guys independent program:
