Rename files even if there are no par files
« on: April 15, 2025, 06:11:19 pm »
One of the places I get NZBs from will repost files but the NZB will be JUST the video file and no par files. Would it be possible to have it process the file (move and rename if set up for that) even if it doesn't come with any par files? Right now, it just leaves the video file in the download folder with the obfuscated filename.

I have a similar issue with the filenames. Even after getting the new version of the Alt.Binz still the same.

For example I can see during download that filenames are like this: [PRiVATE]-[WtFnZb]-[gma-gonbijamhaunted-bluray.r51]-[55/77]

But once download is done - all file names will be messed up and become like this f73de9dfe4b955cf39a6b1539ae3c3b78cf4d3369aef3f11acc017f087609f9c.r55

As often now there won't be par2 file and only sfv - i can basically by hand remane all of them.

Is there anything I can do to "prevent" renaming and keep what I can see was supposed to be a filename?

if there is at least sfv file its good, it renames me all files according to that sfv instead of par, only that sfv stays in that original  f73de9dfe4b955cf39a6b1539ae3c3b78cf4d3369aef3f11acc017f087609f9c format (dont know why but its only 1 file to rename if i want to keep it)

what is worse that some nzb are even without that sfv so then all files stays in that f73de9dfe4b955cf39a6b1539ae3c3b78cf4d3369aef3f11acc017f087609f9c format and i must rename them manually according to view article file that shows what is what.... file by file....

Sorry, but fuck up these uploads without any Par2 file.
It's Usenet and these fuckers are stupid bastards.
