Maximal path length error 0.39.9
« on: October 22, 2012, 03:04:22 PM »
About a week ago Alt.Binz crashed and reset all of my preferences. Since that time, I've gotten the following error for every download:

"Download path of the collection:
[filename]
is longer then defined maximal path length. Collection was paused. Before unpausing, please correct download path first!"

According to what I've read, this message means that the path, folder name, and file name add up to more than 255 characters.

However, no file I've downloaded puts me over this character limit, and if I just unpause the collection it downloads just fine.

The length of the SMB share name + download directory + file name = 53 characters.

Is there a setting or something I need to re-enable to keep this message from showing up and pausing my downloads?

[edit]

I am running Alt.Binz 0.39.9
Win7 Ultimate 64-bit
