First of all, I would like to say that I'm very happy with AltBinz!

Works perfectly! Even my girlfriend can do the downloading with the auto unrar-par functions.

Recently I switched downloading pc´s, instead of downloading on my own pc I´ve set up a Celeron 1.7ghz 512mb cheap pc to do the downloading for me.

I do some online gaming now and then and when I did this on my own machine I would just lower the Speed limit to 50 or 60%.

This worked perfectly. When I´m now using the speedlimit function on the other pc it doesn´t seem to work as good.

I get real bad lag during gaming now.

I´ve set the correct max speed (1050kb/sec) and when setting it to 50% I get a 525kb/sec limit in Alt Binz.

Even though alt binz shows a speed of aprox 500 the actual download speed changes between 480 and sometimes jumps to 850-900.

I guess these quick/short jumps cause me to lag in the online games. I've never had this problem before on the main pc. I did use an older version of Alt Binz though, I think the one before 2.5.0.

I'm using the 2.5.0 version. Anybody know what's going on? I've tested the actual download speed with several software programs like Du Meter.

i am using the newest Version and i am downloading always with 90% of my max speed. I have absolutly no problem.
If you have this problem only with one of your pcs I don't think ist is alt.binz causing this problem.

What avp program do you use?
