Button on toolbar on Queue tab to SORT nodes..

..based on age, size, subject.. Sometimes can be very usefull and would done by only one click :)

I don't understand you. You can sort files inside one root node by selecting that node and pressing appropriate column header. Sorting root nodes between themselfs is not supported and isn't good idea, cause it will change queue order

..but sometimes I need to manually sorts root nodes itselfs, and then some "fast sort metod" via button would be nice :) For example when queue is long and not sorted by age, when age of some root nodes is going near retention of my news provider, I would like to download them first. Yes it can be done manually in 5-10 steps, would be nice with only 1 step, but it isn't so important.

Added as an option. In order to work no node must be selected.
