Errors when importing NZB from Binsearch
« on: March 26, 2007, 04:50:47 PM »
When I create an NZB with the binsearch.info web interface, the articles won't decode. In the download tab, the status stays at 'decoding'.

The log file contains the following hint what might be wrong:

Quote
[26.03.2007 16:31:22] [Dec] Exception Unable to create directory
[26.03.2007 16:31:22] [Dec] Firstpart=1;NumOfParts=28;Encoding=Yenc;Outputdir=;

[26.03.2007 16:31:36] [Dec] Exception Unable to create directory
[26.03.2007 16:31:36] [Dec] Firstpart=1;NumOfParts=28;Encoding=Yenc;Outputdir=;

etc.

When I remove all files with the status 'decoding' from the queue and try to import the same NZB file again with drag & drop, nothing happens. When I use the 'import NZB' button, ABZ crashes.

To replicate, go to www.binsearch.info, search for 'malmsteen' using default search options. Three files should show up. Select all and create NZB, save to disk. Start ABZ by double clicking the NZB file, whose name is 'malmsteen'. [When I search within ABZ and add the files to the queue, everything works fine. Even using the same path name ('malmsteen'). Maybe the file format of the NZB files from Binsearch has changed?]

Using Build 220307.

P.S. The same problems occur when creating an NZB in NewsLeecher and importing it into ABZ.

Hi,

I did have the same problems now and then.
Using daily 25.03.2007 now and no problems any more :)
The files you're mentioned are decoding very well

Regards, Gompy

Thanks for the reply! I wasn't aware that there was a new daily available. With this new 'only for idlers' policy, I apparently don't qualify as a beta tester anymore. :(

Known problem. Already fixed. As a quick fix, don't try importing nzbs on dblclick while altbinz is not running. Or if you do, make sure you set download and unrar dir manualy befire downloading.
