NZB with lots of dots in it, create inaccessible directory

I made an nzb at newzbin.com http://www.newzbin.com/browse/post/2340122/

It creates the following nzb (note the dots at the end):

msgid_2340122_Farscape_-_2x20_-_Liars,_Guns_and_Money_(Part_2)__With_Friends_Like_These....nzb

Which creates the following directory on disk (auto import):

Farscape - 2x20 - Liars, Guns and Money (Part 2)  With Friends Like These..

This directory is then not accessible to me anymore. In windows explorer it says: refers to a location that is no longer accessible.

Solution:
I downloaded the nzb, instead of opening it with alt.binz, removed all but one of the dots at the end. Imported the nzb, and there is a normal directory.

I don't know if this is an ntfs problem, or windows/explorer problem? Can't  delete the directory with dos command box as well.

Maybe you can make a simple check in your program, to make sure this doesn't happen again? :)

[edit]
Total Commander can't delete them as well.
I will empty the directory they are in, and remove that directory. It seems to be the only solution :)
