Windows 7 Beta
« on: March 26, 2009, 05:32:06 AM »
Hi

Just thought I would let you know I have this running in Windows 7 Beta and there are no problems (except for it nagging about the .exe file everytime I run it since I got the full version, but thats just a niggle)

Great program, very easy and extremely friendly.

Thanks

What's it nagging about, out of curiosity?

Hi

It's just the uac asking if I want to run a program by an unknown publisher, I could disable uac but because I am trying different programs all the time I prefer to leave it alone for now.

Thanks

Can't you just uncheck the box that says "ask me everytime I run this file" to get rid of that? Also move Alt.Binz to your C: (or anywhere but your program files dir). On my Win7 setup I don't get asked each time I run alt.binz (UAC still enabled).

Hi EyeBaller

It asked the same question every time regardless of whether I un-ticked the option.

So I did as you suggested and moved the installation folder out of program files and it only asked the question the first time, so the niggle is now gone :)

Thanks
