1. This program is a search program? Correct?
2. Even though I have A.B set to extract the downloaded files, it doesn't, is there something I am missing, or is this not working. Thanks for the help.

I've saved the link you just provide Hecks, tnx!  :D
It's not shown when you visit the site, so maybe only members can see your file...

As a quickstart it's very useful for people who are not so skilled as the regular "irc://irc.efnet.net/alt.binz -crew"  8)

I've pointed several people on the existence of alt.binz, but most of them get stucked in how to setup altbinz in a proper way so I've to explain the working of the program several times a week.

I am not complaining, but we've got to remember that *everyone* of us had been a n00b once, so a little explanation how the program can be setup properly for use, shown at the alt.binz-site saves a starting AB-leecher lots of confusion    , and dig out a whole forum in how to setup every part of alt.binz is a complete nonsense.

Like I said, not complaining, but the program is worth it...

Amen.. , Gompy

-Hecks,

At the end of your lovely Quickstart you're pointing to the altbinz-forum with this link:

http://www.alt.binz.com/forum/

That link doesn't work, must be:

http://www.altbinz.com/forum/index.php

Thank you

The Quickstart is (was) a work-in-progress toward the full guide, which people are still writing.  Sc0tTy has been posting it as each section is completed, but I think he wants it all finished before it goes live.

Gompy, I'm not able to edit it now, I might wait until 0.24.1 and then write an updated version for Sc0tTy.    It's already been overtaken by the new features in the daily builds. :(
