Clearing download queue

Quite often after I exit alt.binz and restart the program, I find the download queue empty.  Cleanup is unchecked in misc.  Any ideas of what I must be doing wrong.  Thanks.  :?

setup/misc
make sure you have ticked "autosave queue every X minutes"
