External exception error
« on: April 25, 2007, 01:20:57 PM »
First, let me say I don't consider this a bug as this happened on a very old Pentium 1 machine running Win 2000 Pro. This is purely to satisfy my curiosity.

The program ran fine and downloaded, but whenever I clicked on the main window and tried to move articles up or down, up pops the error window "External exception" and some hex number. In the background I could see that it was still downloading fine, but I couldn't do anything as the error window popped back up as soon as I closed it.

Question is: does alt.binz make use more advanced instruction sets (e.g. SSE) from later generation CPUs that might be causing this?
