« on: January 06, 2007, 02:04:06 PM »
I have only problems with the version 0.23.2 and wish to un-install.
But..............how can I do that ? It is not in the Software installation ?
Can't find an un-install-file ?

Thank you for your help!

Sorry to hear that, maybe if you explain your problem, one can help you.

There is no installation or deinstallation, just delete directory.

Okay, thank you !

Did delete and install once again, but still problems.

I could dl. 1 file. Did change some things(forgot what exactly, pars and unrar I think) and now I can't dl. anymore.
Altbinz is trying to connect with the server, but no success.
No error comes up ?  Can't stop Altbinz, only with Ctrl-Alt-Del !
I have no idea what the problem is and hope you have a good suggestion  :D (Would an older version helps ?)

It would really help to know what exact option triggers that kind of behaviour.

I delete everything. Did install Altbinz and only write down the information for the server.
But still the same problems: no connection.
Did stop my firewall: without success

What can I try more?

port number is normally defined as 119

And also make sure to set the number of connections to 1 or higher.

Okay, change the connection in 1 and it did work. But the speed is with 1 connection not so good. Why can't I use 4-8 connections? My provider allows 8 connection !
Thank you for your help.

They just wanted to suggest you that at the moment default number of connections is 0, which is probably why you didn't establish connection, and that author will set in the next version as default number of connections 1. Of course you can setup it to as many connections as you wish, just don't go over provider limit, so thay don't cut you off :)
Very simply - ABZ ROX!

Sorry, the problem is:  when I setup more than 1 connection,  ANY connection fails (my provider allows 8 connections !).

You've created primary server properties with 1 connection. You've probably tried to change it but you didn't hit 'Update data' button after editing.
So go into setup->server, dbl click on your server connection, edit number of connections, click on update data, click Ok, connect, enjoy... :)
