Import from one of the search engines.  Usually has a ridiculously long name.  So on occasion will use the cntrl-r option and edit down to more manageable size.

Unless I import as paused; end up renaming, delete file(s) from old dir and move into the new shorter or more appropriately named dir.  Was curious if this could be done automatically?

Did a search again, but hopefully this time don't double post :)

Or just use the dialog to name it before importing?

Also, if you just rename the NZB file when you download it, it will then be imported as the shorter name.

The thing with that if using a search engine and start the download, sometimes the names are so so long or stupidly named.  So then I would have to right click or keyboard shortcut to download as paused, rename, then download.  Unpause then actually download.  As opposed to just have it download anyway, rename it now, or a few minutes later and have all files in the same newly renamed directory.

Speaking of which, I guess there is no option to automatically cut off folder paths to x characters?  Again, some of the search engines are really really unnecessarily long headers.
