Binsearch is clear - it doesn't work. If and when it's fixed - it will be listed in changelog.

I am not sure about second, you'll have to explain in details.
What do you want to do?
What I do if I want to test filters is clear list and then enable timer. List will refresh and all items will go through filter and all items in RSS feed list will be either red or green.
If I want just to enable timer without triggering filters in current feed - I'll first refresh list, all items will be white and then I'll enable timer. Next new items will be either red or green.
You can't hit refresh once you enable timer. Enabling timer will refresh list and show new items if there are any (usually there are not cause previous refresh showed all items)

first one is binsearch search engine gives me an "Error During Transfer!" error to every search I try. Has been this way for a fair while (months at least).
Second is a first world problem in that when I refresh a group I will sometimes have to hit the refresh twice to get it to work. It is not consistent as to when it will happen but for me it occurs about 50% of the time I refresh.
procedure:
in RSS group - scan through new messages- hit timer to allow refresh - hit refresh to mark all messages as read - refresh is fast to come back but all messages are missing from group (ie no messages in window at all) hit refresh button again and messages appear with everything shown as read- hit timer and go to the next group.
Running windows 11 latest updates, but again this has been happening for a while. and yes it is still in 48.

I guess you're downloading everything in the same folder? Don't do that.

Make sure to have this option checked before importing nzb.
Setup->Download->Create sunfolders based on nzb name

I have a lot of files like
2e4O67fdff54d1695a34179e1c3e8bOd
2e6199e4cb970c73fc3c7b167a7493ff7
...

in my default download folder. Alt.Binz needs a lot of time to rename these files to their target file names.

Also the tab "PAR2" isn't refreshed in time.

Genau, unter NZB option kann man einen Autoimport-NZB-Ordner festlegen, so mach ich das :-))

Morning,

Not asking for an include/exclude option in the search feature, but the opposite!

When using the global search option triggered from the button in the ribbon, when applying the search criteria to each built in search tab, could the associated "include/exclude" boxes be cleared of previous/old data please?

Only when using the global search, not when adjusting a search from within a built in search tab.

sorry, i forgot to post back on this one,

yeah, all working good, i was being a Biff, i'd ended up with an entry in the filter subjects box (doh!) must have pressed tab or something to end up in there by mistake.


Although that said, it has made me aware of that option/tool, because some of the results from usenet-crawler have been a little off when including full tv show name and season+episode number in the main search box

Du kannst die NZB Dateien doch in ein von AltBinz überwachtes Verzeichnis speichern, dann werden sie automatisch importiert und geladen...
